Service Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>Originally, the Building Footprints dataset was captured for the Worcester County, Maryland GIS Response Mapping project which occurred from Fall, 2005 to Summer, 2007. Spatial Systems utilized aerial imagery dated March, 2004 to create the building footprints data. Upon receipt of the building foot prints from Spatial Systems, (SSA) Worcester County GIS Anaylst has been doin QC of the Building footprints relative the most current aerial imagery available. Currently this is being QC'd using the 2019 Aerial Imagery. The QC effort is ongoing and is not complete as of 10/7/21. However, is approx. 75 - 80%% complete. (This is a guestimation)</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>NOTE: Ocean City has currently not been comprehensively been QC'd to the 2019 aerials, however some portions has been, see the source field in the table to determine this. As time permits the Ocean City buildings footprints will be QC's as needed.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>OC is not a priority for our QC, since we have in the past received updated data from OC, and would have to delete our efforts. </SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Please contact Adam Dikerson, GIS Coordinator of Ocean City, MD to get updated Ocean City building footprints. </SPAN></P><P><SPAN>In the future when the county receives updated aerials, the building will be QC'd to the new aerials.</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>
